Wheatacre White Lion serves the three villages of Wheatacre, Aldeby and Burgh St Peter. The Georgian country Pub is surrounded by farmland on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. Local leisure pursuits include boating, bird watching, shooting, walking and fishing and easy access to the coastal towns of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Inland both Beccles and the City of Norwich are just a short drive away.
How to find us header
We are situated 7 miles NE of Beccles. From Beccles on the A146 turn onto the A143 towards Great Yarmouth at the 'Gillingham' roundabout and turn right after a mile into Aldeby. Follow the road for about 4 miles towards the Waveney River Centre and White Lion Road is to the left after the Business Centre signpost.
